Last year, we actually re-tweeted this tweet that Henry will be filming an unnamed culinary based movie with well-known actress Michelle Yeoh in April (And this tweet cannot be found on the original source now). Under Michelle Yeoh’s schedule this year(our own research) she will be filming a movie “Cooktales” and it will be directed by Korean-American, Gina Kim. Henry is rumored to be part of the cast and his character is known as Mark. We DO NOT know if this is true but it is the most reliable and we really hope for it to be true. Because it will be his first endeavor towards acting and it will be on the big screen. In addition, Michelle Yeoh is a worldwide well-known actress with superior acting skill and Gina Kim has several films and documentary under her belt plus she was a lecturer in Harvard University. If Henry really gets to be able to work with them, it will be the best news on earth for all Strings. I am quite sure seeing him on big screen will be a very good career advancement for him though the opportunity cost is that we couldn’t see him on SS4, as Strings we should be happy and support him!
No matter what Henry is doing, we all believe that he really wanted to go around the world with SJ to meet all his fans. Even if he will not be going for SS4 in certain countries, we all believe that his spirit is there and Strings will still support him. Strings should believe in his decision to do whatever he is doing now for the betterment of his career. Like what he say, we will always wait for him!!!
About Cooktales:
Cooktales (working title), an epicurean drama set in the food paradise of Singapore about a coming-of-age tale of an amateur cook who at the same time has to deal with the twisted fate of his family, will be a film directed by Gina Kim (Never Forever). This is the second collaboration between Bang Singapore and Korea’s CJ Entertainment following Neon Sign, a project that was announced at last year’s American Film Market.Source: http://stringswithhenry.com/
(We have no idea why it says it is funded by Singapore but filmed in Thailand. ^^)
